How do I switch between metric and imperial units on the PTS?Updated 4 hours ago

The Performance Touchscreen on the Wattbike PTS can display measurements in either metric or imperial units. To switch between metric and imperial measurement systems please follow these steps:

  1. Tap on the serial number in the top left corner of the screen.
  2. Tap ‘Advanced Settings’.
  3. Under ‘Select measurement system’, tap ‘Switch’.
  4. The grey text above the button will tell you the current measurement system being used on the Performance Touchscreen.

Please see below for a breakdown of the units that apply to each measurement system:

Metric 

Workouts, Quick Rides, Session Summaries:

  • Distance is shown in metres (M) / kilometres (KM)
  • Speed is shown in kilometres per hour (KM/H)

Climbs:

  • Elevation gain is shown in metres (M)
  • Rider weight is shown in kilograms (KG)
  • Distance is shown in metres (M) / kilometres (KM)
  • Speed is shown in kilometres per hour (KM/H)

Profile Screen:

  • Rider weight is shown in kilograms (KG)

Imperial

Workouts, Quick Rides, Session Summaries:

  • Distance is shown in feet (FT) / miles (MILE)
  • Speed is shown in miles per hour (MPH)

Climbs:

  • Elevation gain is shown in feet (FT)
  • Rider weight is shown in pounds (LBS)
  • Distance is shown in miles (MILE) 
  • Speed is shown in miles per hour (MPH)

Profile Screen:

  • Rider weight is shown in pounds (lbs)

Please note: the power to weight ratio is always expressed as Watts per Kilogram (W/KG) regardless of measurement system.
